Job Description

UM St. Joseph Medical Group (UMSJMG), a member of the University of Maryland Medical System (UMMS), has a full-time employed position available for a Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their practice located in Towson, MD. Nurse Practitioner

Job Specifics:
Position dedicated to the management and treatment of patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, pulmonary hypertension (PH), interstitial lung disease (ILD), follow-up with lung nodule patients and obstructive sleep apnea.
Administer or order diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
Interpret test results for deviations from normal.
Perform therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, as appropriately credentialed.
Develop and implement patient management plans, record progress notes, and assist in provision of continuity of care.
Position a blend of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities as needed.
Collaborative, supportive team comprised of 9 providers.
Monday through Friday work schedule; No call, No weekends!
NP's must be Adult-Gero Primary Care NP or Adult-Gero Acute Care Certified.
Candidates with pulmonary and sleep medicine experience are encouraged to apply
