We are seeking a skilled Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Physician to join our esteemed team at Mercy Health St. Vincent Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. This position offers a dynamic blend of outpatient and surgical responsibilities, alongside opportunities for resident teaching, community engagement, and sports medicine involvement. The work schedule includes 2+ office days per week, starting at 7:30 am or 8:00 am on Mondays and Wednesdays, as well as 1.5-4 surgical days per week. Extended hours and weekends are required as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cover outpatient (ambulatory) practice, integrating virtual visits when necessary.
• Manage Orthopedic call duties, including level 1 orthopedic trauma call and general orthopedic call at various locations.
• Provide resident teaching and participate in clinics, didactics, and journal clubs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with primary care physicians and specialists in the community.
• Participate in inpatient rounding and perform surgical procedures as required. - Demonstrated proficiency in orthopedic foot and ankle procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with colleagues, residents, and patients.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Access to advanced imaging facilities, including 2 high field open MRIs.
• Opportunity to serve as a team physician for contracted high schools or colleges.
• Ancillary services include onsite physical therapy and comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services.

Requirements:

• Board Certified or eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with Orthopedic Foot & Ankle fellowship.
• Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Ohio.
• DEA registration with full prescriptive authority required for specific practice.
