The Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) in the Department of Surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire seeks a highly motivated, full-time Physician Assistant to join our team. Working with the OMFS Faculty, the physician assistant will be involved in patient care in the outpatient clinic, inpatient ward, and operating room. Although not required, procedural experience is beneficial. The position will be eligible for an academic appointment with the Geisel School of Medicine.
Position Highlights:

  • Providing care and education to patients with various oral/maxillofacial conditions in coordination with the attending physicians
  • Performing various procedures in the office setting, assisting with surgical procedures, assisting with inpatient and emergency room consultations, and managing oral/maxillofacial inpatients with the resident team
  • Participation in the training of all PA residents as part of the Otolaryngology PA residency program
  • Flexible scheduling throughout the Monday-Friday work week. Options for four or five-day workweeks are available.
  • Some day call responsibilities during the week. No weekend, holiday, or night call responsibilities.

  • Eligible for PA licensure in the State of NH
  • Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
  • Graduate of an accredited PA program
  • NCCPA Certification
