A motivated professional with experience in tax preparation, accounting, and QuickBooks. Our tax preparation clients consist primarily of individuals and small businesses, but also include partnerships, S corps, C corps, trusts, estates, nonprofits, etc. Required duties to be performed include:

  • Preparation and assembly of tax returns
  • Assist in preparing Maryland Personal Property returns and 5500s
  • Create tax projections and prepare amended tax returns
  • Manage monthly bookkeeping for clients
  • Maintain client QuickBooks files
  • Serve as a utility player and support the team

Industry Experience

Flexible, 1-3 years business experience preferred


Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation (or the ability to pursue)

Skills and Knowledge

  • Microsoft Office familiarity, especially with Excel
  • Client centric mentality
  • Strong technology skills and drive toward adoption
  • Strong multi-tasking skills with an enjoyment of a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online
  • Tax preparation experience (1120S, 1065, 990, MD PPT, 5500s)
  • A team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to meld into the company culture
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Innovative mentality and open to change
