MAIN JOB OBJECTIVE The Senior Accountant will help with Financial Statements, Reports, Inventory, AR and strategic guidance to Department Heads. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES + Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and documents + Perform balance sheet, revenue, expenses and payroll account reconciliations as well as executing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
+ Analyze financial statements for discrepancies. + Prepare bank reports on a monthly basis and in a timely manner + Coordinate annual audit and manage data flow to outside auditors. + Help with Coordination of yearly budget for all departments/stores.
+ Prepare daily cash report and forecast for cash flow requirements. + Prepare monthly inventory & WIP valuation reports. + Prepare monthly sales, cost of sales & gross margin reports.
+ Assist with sales tax and property tax filings. + Assist with physical inventory reconciliation (twice a year). + Other duties as assigned.
+ Provide leadership to Staff Accountants by teaching them how to complete complex financial operations. PRINCIPAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED Education &/or Work Experience: + Minimum of 3 year's hands on experience in a company.
